Family Base Companion App breaks when Android upgrades to Lollipop

Is there any way to reactivate the Companion app. after the Android OS is upgraded?

This really is ridiculous.

This is a feature we pay for.

If it is not compatible with the upgrade then Verizon dropped the ball by not informing all its family base users...

and trying to get a fix for it so that we can continue to use it as it was meant to be used!
