Flip 4 Advanced Messaging on Samsung Messages

So this is a problem that I am quite familiar with after doing a lot of digging. Back in 2020/2021 a lot of users were having issues activating advanced messaging on the Samsung messaging app. It turns out that Verizon was not allowing newer phones to activate this feature using Samsung messages. I am now stuck in the same boat with my Flip 4. I have been in contact with Verizon tech support and finally received an answer. It turns out that this advanced messaging feature is compatible with all phones except for the newest releases, including the flip 4. I guess I will be stuck waiting for an update just as those same users did back in 2020. It appears that they had to wait quite a while for the update. I don't mean to sound impatient, but I am wondering if anyone from verizon can provide a timeline for this update. I highly prefer using Samsung messages and don't care for Messages + from Verizon. Google Messages is okay, but again I highly prefer Samsung messages. It is frustrating that because I have a new model, I cannot access the same things that older models can. My only options seem to be to wait for the update or to switch carriers. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue? And if there are others out there can we please get a timeline for a new update?

honeypot567, Advanced Messaging is only available with select Samsung models with the Verizon Network at this time. We do not have a specific timeframe to provide when the feature may be available, but do advise to continue to check for the latest software updates on your phone.
