this is my 3rd S20+, I have several group text messages and several times a day my sent messages get stuck "sending". This happens with message+, the samsung messenger and google messenger. I've done factory resets, clear cache, uninstall messaging clients, switch to wifi, stay on mobile, turn on airplane mode on and off. Nothing fixes it. I've seen lots of threads out there about this with no solution.

This has gone on for far too long. Being able to send group messages is mandatory for any device. Let's get this completely resolved together once and for all. When did this first start? Did this issue happen with your other two S20+ devices? Does this only happen with Group Messages?-Sean

There seems to always be a customer service response to these issues in the thread but never a fix? I've struggled with this exact issue with all my samsung phones for years. default messaging/downloading messaging apps. verizon simply struggles to send group sms. I have just had to wait an hour + for all the spinning wheels to stop and eventually fail. Is there actually a solution or is this just part of messaging on verizon?

We want to ensure you and your wife can use your Group Messages without worry, RM01! Is this primarily happening on WiFi or while connected to mobile data as well away from WiFi? What messaging app are you currently using? -Yale

It happens if you use wifi or mobile data. It happens using any messaging app. I am currently using Samsung messages. I have also tried Verizon messages and Google messages. All 3 gave same issue.

They don't have a fix. They offer a replacement phone. My wife has same problem and we had on other Samsung phones so not device specific.

It is definitely strange that all 3 phones are experiencing this issue. If all the phones are Androids, are they all utilizing RCS or standard text messaging? If you are connected to Wi-Fi does this issue also occur while connected to Wi-Fi? *Gert

I do understand what you are saying, that is why we are asking if this is occurring with RCS, or with standard text messaging. A few things I would suggest trying is creating a new group but with only at most 5 people. In that group make sure all users are only Andriod, or only Apple. The most common issues are when there are more than 5 users in a Group Message, and when there are different operating systems between them. If you notice that the issue went away with the 5 users. I'd add more slowly till you see when the issue happens again. There are many possible issues that can cause this issue. We are just trying to figure out what is causing it first, in order to be able to find a way to solve it with you. I hope this makes sense. *Gert

What an absolute garbage response. I have gotten the run around forever from Verizon. It has happened with the last 3 galaxy phones I owned. Doesn't matter if I am connected to wifi or 5g, how many people are on the text - sometimes it is a one-to-one text, other times it is a group - and with regards to your ridiculous notion about keeping text to operating systems separate....are you serious? In this day in age...why don't iPhones have these issues.
Last time I called to complain they told me they wanted to have someone check out the closest tower? I laughed and realized in that moment you don't offer any help, to anyone. Unfathomable that we can send vehicles to mars and can't get normal texting to operate correctly.

Our previous response was a troubleshooting suggestion to narrow down what could be causing this issue. If this is happening with one-to-one texts, as well as group texts, this could be a potential service issue. Please note that we have to explore all possibilities in order to eliminate different possible issues, and find the root cause. Does this happen no matter where you are? If not, what is the ZIP Code where this usually occurs? What are the 3 messaging apps you're using?

This is specifically a GROUP text error. Not 1 to 1

Hello, RM01. I regret to have been dealing wit the issue for so long. Group messages are so helpful to keep in touch and I know how important the feature is. Do you get an error message when you are trying to send out the message? What happens on your device. ~Pamela

Why not just give a flipping solution. The issues have been posted a billion times and you guys respond with the same things... Knowing the answers before you even ask. How about you just say you have no solution and pin the post and be done with it.youre wasting people's time.
The issue is simple...
In a group text.... It gets stuck on "sending..." And just does it for hours .. during that time, you do not receive group messages and never get the ones you missed.
It has nothing to do with service/wifi/cache/data/message history/zip code/location/whether my phone is upside down or not/gps/nfc/Bluetooth/hotspot/airplane mode/dnd/restarting/etc.
I've went around and around with you people. I have even had a customer service rep tell me to not turn my phone upside down for too long and that that was the problem.
Ive done everything imagines me. I've replaced my phone 3 times, I've heard reset each one, I've used 10 different text apps.
NOTHING FIXES IT.
