I have made several attempts to upgrade Message+ on a Galaxy S7, which has the latest android update.
Message+ on my device is version 6.4.2 On another device (S6) it is 6.5. Whenever I try to upgrade via download from Google Play...I keep getting version 6.4.2 Can someone tell me how to get v 6.5 ? Thanks!
Probably that 6.5 version is not available for your hardware. I would think your hardware is identified to Google Play when you search for apps and only those that support your device are presented as available.
My wife and I got our S6 phones the same day at the same place, essentially identical phones.
Her phone has Message v6.4.x while mine has v6.5.1.
When I go to play store and look at the verizon message app from my phone I see it's v6.5.1.
When I look from my wife's phone it's v6.4.x, even after uninstall and reinstall it's still v6.4.x.
I'd sure like to know how to upgrade my wife's message app to v6.5.1 but it's no where to be found when I look for it from her phone.
I have the exact same problem! Only difference being we have Note8's. Otherwise, identical issue. I have tried everything short restoring to factory defaults.
Same here, we both have Pixel 2's bought the same day and I updated to 6.5.1 and my wife still has 6.4. My 6.5.1 was already updated twice since! The only thing I can think of is its a limited rollout to work out any bugs then it will go full rollout.
JETFAN61 we always want to be sure you are up to date with your apps. What we suggest is to keep checking back to see if there is an update available. Eventually, the phone will receive the update. I hope this helps.
