Can someone help with message+ draining my phones battery? The last information I have been able to find about it is back in 2019 or earlier, but there are no fixes to the problem. I started using messaging+ app because I was having connection problems (messages being sent and rcvd) with the other apps. However, since beginning to use this app, my phone battery drains by at least 50% by mid day--even when I have only sent no more than say 20-30 messages (and rcvd). I have NEVER had to charge my battery before the end of the day before on any phone, unless it was an old phone and had battery problems. I have made sure I am running the latest version, I have cleared my cache, I have checked battery usage to see if perhaps there is an app running in the background (that is NOT messaging+) that is causing this problem, but this app is consistently using the most battery during the day. Has there been a fix to this yet? Is there anyone that has the same problem or has a suggestion on how to rectify this problem? Thank you in advance!

I don't see where you identify what make/model phone you have.
We want to make sure you get the help you need. What kind of phone are you using? Have you been able to go into the battery section of your phone to view what's using up your battery? On Android you can go to Settings> Battery > Battery usage by app. This might be a bit different depending on your model. If you have an iPhone, you can go to Settings > Battery. Please let us know what you find is using the most battery daily along with your phone model so we can continue to assist.
