Message + no default sms option

Message+ 3.7.8

Lenovo TB-8705F running Android 10:

Recently unable to do anything within the app, thinks it's not default sms app:

Clicking the message to make default does nothing.

 

No option for sms default under Settings/Apps/Default Apps:

Message+ has all permissions allowed:

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, no luck...

Toddcornwell, we want to make sure you get the most out of the tablet, especially when it comes to messages. To help clarify, you mentioned that you're unable to do anything with the app. Are you having trouble with messaging or using the app besides setting it as the default sms app? -Alex
