Message+ not working on multiple devices

I am trying to setup the Message+ app on two devices, iPhone XR and iPad mini. I have the latest available iOS software installed on both devices. I have the latest version of Message+ installed on both devices. I have restarted both devices. Whenever I set up Message+ on one device, it deactivates Message+ on the other app. "Deactivating" meaning, I have to go through the activation prompts and scan the QR code to enable the Message+ app. I understand Message+ allows a maximum of 5 devices. When I check "Managed Devices", I only see two devices. I have even tried removing all devices but I did not resolve the problem.
I would like to be able to use Message+ app on both devices, but am only able to activate the app on one device at a time. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Lloyd

We know how important it is to for your Messages to work the way you need them to. Have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app on both devices?

I deleted the Message+ app on both devices and reinstalled. Message+ will still not activate on both devices. Could it be something specific with the devices?

I'm sure it's not the devices, Lloyd2000. Once you are logged into Messages+, please select Menu> Stay Logged In. You can do this on both devices.
Let's see if that helps.

I do not see an option to stay logged in under settings. FYI I am using the Messag+ app on iPhone and iPad. I would show screen shot of available options under settings but I don’t see an option to send nclud3 screen shot.

@vanessas_vzw thank you for the suggestion but I don't see any setting for "stay logged in". also, my iPhone and iPad have different options in the Settings menu. Any other ideas? Is there any way I can attach a screen shot of my setting options when I reply?

The 'Stay logged in' might be an option in the Web app and not the mobile apps. Are both devices lines on your account?

The iPhone is on my work account. My iPad is not on any account. I am logged into both devices with my Apple ID (same ID) and using my Verizon cell # on both devices.
The strange thing is that the Message+ app worked on both devices before without any issue for the past couple of years. I am wondering is a recent update made it so that I can only login to one device at a time. Its annoying because I have to go through the whole activation process on each device whenever I want to use the app on the other device.
Do you know how I can open a service ticket with Verizon to help me? I have tried everything.

Maybe a VZW agent will jump in here and assist with contacting the Messaging Team to see if anything has changed. Could be devices not on your numbers' account now cannot simultaneously be logged into Message+.

Okay, the plot thickens...
I have 3 devices - iPhone (business), iPad mini (personal), older iPad (personal). I am able to install and use Message+ app on the iPhone and older iPad concurrently. When I install the app on the iPad mini, it causes the iPhone app to deactivate. It seems that the app cannot be installed on the iPad mini and iPhone at the same time. I don't know if activating the app on iPad mini will deactivate the app on the old iPad. I will check that now and report back.
I think this is an important clue to the cause of the problem.

Is there anything related to the MAC ID or IMEI's that might be confusing the registration server?

Sorry, I have no idea about "MAC ID or IMEI's" so not sure if that's causing the problem and have no idea where to look.
So, I re-activated the iPad mini and as I suspected, the app on the iPhone was deactivated, but the old iPad stayed activated. I am able to concurrently use the app on both iPads or iPhone and old iPad. i just cannot activate app on iPhone and iPad mini concurrently.

Lloyd, If you look at Syncing Messages Across Devices, question 4 here: https://www.verizon.com/support/verizon-messages-faqs/, can you advise if you'd performed those steps? If so, the Integrated Messaging feature may have been turned off and needs to be reactivated. If you didn't get that option on your iPhone, then you likely do not have the feature turned on and will need it to be enabled for use with secondary devices.

@ebonyr_vzw I do not recall ever performing those steps and deleting my account. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would want to delete their account.
When I follow the instructions in the FAQ, I can tap "Settings" in the Message+ app, but I do not see an option for "Account". The first option in Settings is my device name and phone number. Is that what they mean by "Account"? When I click my device name it takes to the "Profile" screen that just shows my device name and phone number. There is also an option to "Add Photo".
How can I confirm whether or not my Integrated Messaging account was deleted?
Assuming it was deleted, add it and subscribe to Integrated Messaging again?

It appears that by logging in to your accounts' phone number on the message+ app on the additional device(s) automatically activates integrated messaging.

I do apologize for the delay, Lloyd2000. We want to help as much as we can. You have reached us in a community forum which usually takes a few days for a response. If you ever need immediate assistance then I would recommend contact us. www.vzw.com/contactus I would love to help and figure out what is going on with your messages and help. I did find out some information. Running multiple texts or multimedia messaging applications on your phone may impact performance, such as causing notifications to disappear, disrupting the group conversation experience, and altering message timestamps. For the best messaging experience, we recommend only one text or multimedia messaging app be installed and running on your device. Were you able to test out the iPad Mini to see if it logs out of your phone?
