I Use a Samsung Galaxy S5. My messages will NOT sync across all devices, all of the time. I have experienced this problem for many months now, waiting for Verizon to address. I was told, after many hours on the phone with support, that Verizon didn't support my android tablet because it was manufactured by RCA. I am now trying to use a HP windows 10 computer. I am experiencing the same thing. Some of the messages I receive on the phone, but not on the computer. Some messages appear on the computer, but not on the phone. Sometimes the messages I send on the computer will not show up on the phone. I can tell (from google searches and such) that MANY users have this very same problem, but when I call support they claim they have not heard of anyone else having such a problem. THIS, I do NOT understand. This is my LAST resort. If I cannot resolve this problem then I simply have no other choice except to change carriers. Can ANYONE please help me???

OKAY..... This way of getting help (from a forum) works every bit as well as calling verizon support. I should have known this was a useless way of getting help. If I need a different phone, I'll get one. If I need a different tablet or computer, I'll get one. If I need a different service, then I guess I have little choice. The fact that this forum has the same apathy as Verizon support should NOT have been a surprise. Just very surprised that such a basic problem (affecting so many people) cannot be solved.

RONDEN28,
We appreciate your patience, as we get multiple posts at a time and do our best to respond as quickly as possible. Allow us to assist you with syncing your messages with other devices. What messaging app (default, Verizon Messages, etc...) are you using? What steps have you taken to start the syncing process?

@RONDEN28
Thanks for confirming which messaging application you’re using. Let’s take a closer look into this text message syncing issue for you.
First, can you confirm your Verizon Messages (Message+) application is up to date on your device: http://vz.to/2nLzdIg? Also, can you confirm that the Verizon Messages application on your tablet is set to sync with your phone: http://vz.to/2skfFMM?

I can confirm my Verizon Messages (Message+) application is up to date on
my device. I can also confirm that the Verizon Messages application on my
tablet is set to sync with my phone as is the Verizon Messages application
on my computer.
BTW, the link: http://vz.to/2nLzdIg
<https://community.verizonwireless.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fvz.to%2F2nLzdIg>,
and the link: http://vz.to/2skfFMM
<https://community.verizonwireless.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fvz.to%2F2skfFMM>
both
direct me to a Verizon page that simply says:
An unexpected error has occurred.
Question - is it possible to to receive SOME of my messages on my tablet if
that tablet is NOT set to sync from my phone??
Please recall that I receive SOME messages on each device. Some messages
that are sent to my phone do NOT appear on my tablet. Some messages that
are sent to my phone do NOT appear on my computer. They may or may not be
the same messages. Some messages that I send from either of my other
devices do not appear on my phone. Some messages that I send from my phone
do not appear on either of my other devices.

@RONDEN28 Making sure your getting you're getting your messages is important. Lets try removing the Message Plus off of the alternate devices, and making sure your primary device (phone) can receive all of the messages. Once that's confirmed please add the Message plus back to the alternate devices, and attempt to sync again.

There has never been any question that my phone will send and receive
messages. I have, over the last year, installed, uninstalled, and
reinstalled message plus on a variety of devices. I have used several
different web browsers to connect to verizon messages over the internet. I
first discovered that when I used a chrome browser on a pc with win 7 to
send and receive messages, some of the messages I sent from the pc did not
register on the phone and some of the messages I sent from the phone did
not register on the pc. I also tried a variety of web browsers. I upgraded
to windows 10 and again tried a variety of web browsers. I stopped using
the "web portal" altogether. Next, I installed message plus on an android
tablet and experienced the same problems. Verizon support said there was a
problem with the RCA manufactured android tablet and I should contact RCA
for support. RCA support services said that I had been misdirected. I
tend to agree. I then tried using an Ipod air and experienced the very
same problems. I have gone ahead and uninstalled ALL message plus from ALL
of my devices, including my phone. After that, I reinstalled message plus
on my phone. I DID send and receive a couple of messages. I did NOT spend
any time extensively testing this because it has never been the problem.
I am currently using message plus on an HP manufactured desktop running
windows 10 and the RCA manufactured android tablet. At this point it needs
to be understood that the syncing problem is NOT absolute. It IS
intermittent. I HAVE done this already. In the past, it has taken weeks
for the problem to present again. In the past when I have gone through
this sort of process of elimination, the problem HAS, each and every time,
presented again. In the past, when working with Verizon Support, I have
been asked (more than once) to do what I have just done again per YOUR
request. In each of those cases I was then asked to send and receive text
messages in all possible combinations. Because I could successively do
this ONCE, the support technician considered the problem solved. Each and
every time the same problem presented again weeks or even months down the
road. Over a period of more than a year I have repeated this very same
procedure for each and every support person I have asked for assistance.
Each and every time the support technician has considered the problem
solved and dismissed me from their support. This will be the fourth or the
fifth time I have gone through this cycle. Please DO NOT say "is there
anything else I can do for you? Please call us back if you have any other
problems". You cannot, in good faith, consider this a solution to my
problem.

So - since I've Since I have uninstalled and then reinstalled message plus
on my computer and my tablet it HAS worked as it should. So, now I wait?
If (when) it begins dropping messages again, are you saying that I will
need to uninstall and reinstall? Is this the long term solution?
