after decades of reasonable service this summer my service is spotty to not working at all. I have several folks on my road with the same verizon issues. I metered a complete circle around the Hammond NY (13646) tower to find diminished speeds of download and upload on the West to west south west side of the tower. So far after several calls Verizon’s standard answer has been its a marginal area and this poor service is expected. How do I get Verizon to be interested in our service issues and take a look at this tower.

Be real. All this will accomplish is show reps you call in too much and make them cautious of taking your call.
You're also not going to score a personal phone number per agent. They'll tell you the same 800 number.

I certainly would be concerned as well if my service was exceptional for so long and then becomes spotty, onei.mij. I definitely want to put a second pair of eyes on this issue to make sure that we do everything that we can to get this resolved for you and others that are affected. Can you please describe what is happening that tells you that your service connection is spotty? How far would you say you need to travel in order to receive a better connection?

I get up to a notification that Verizon has turned off LTE for this account. If I have WiFi turned on I get txt but no phone calls. My WiFi is satellite based (Hughes Net) apparently tech support tells me this type of internet will not support a phone call. If a call come though it will drop every time, if I make a call it will drop, or not process at all. Many times a call to me goes right to voicemail. I purchased an amplifier with a directional antenna this has been no help. For 20 years I have had enough service to make and receive calls as well as use a MiFi for my computer. A signal good enough that 2 years ago I cancelled my landline. My neighbors are also experiencing the same decrease in service. If I go 30ft outside I have 3 bars of LTE signal and can receive and make phone calls. If I go 1 mile in any direction I have lots of LTE signal. What next???

onei.mij,
Thank you for those additional details, although were exactly are you seeing this notification regarding LTE being turned off? I ask because that is not a feature that can be toggled on or off, as our entire network broadcasts LTE signals. Are you are getting this message through a popup, or are you getting it as an account alert like an email or text message? Regarding this signal booster you purchased, have you registered it to your account? Use this link if you have not: https://vz.to/2ghX6oJ

onei.mjj, I am sorry to hear that our service was meeting your expectations up until recently. You've come to the right place for assistance with your service issues and I will be glad to help restore your confidence in our service. You had stated that if you go 30 feet outside your signal will improve, to clarify, are your service issues occurring while indoors or outdoors? In addition, can you share the results you had obtained from the speed tests that you had conducted?
