Zwarshavsky, it's important that you get the most out of your Messaging+ Application. I'm sorry to hear that it's not working the way that it used to. What is different now when you long press on send? When did this start? Have you updated any software or apps recently?

Long press does the same thing as a regular send. No long press state. I

haven't had a schedule message option for months, but it is now really

bugging me.

What make/model phone are you having issues with?

I can see how a scheduling option would be beneficial. Let's investigate what's happening. What make and model phone do you have? Are you able to use the long press function in other apps? If you have not already, please try some simple steps like restarting your phone, and closing completely and restarting the Message+ app. If you're unsure how to do so, we can share detailed steps once you let us know your make and model of phone.

Samsung S7 - SM G930V

Long press works in other apps. I uninstalled the Message + and the

schedule message on the upper right came back.

That's is music to our ears. Now that it is restored, is there anything else we can lend a hand with today?

I just upgraded to Samsung G10+ and I cannot Schedule messages - long press doesn't work and there are no longer options for it with the 3 dots menu.  Why?  How do I get this back?  I used it all the time!!!

I greatly benefit from scheduling messages, 23blaize, so I fully understand how upsetting it is to see the option missing from your Message+ menu. You came to the right place for tips and tricks, such as the one lordparsnip offered. If you do not see the “Activate Account” prompt our member mentioned, please consider this alternative. On your device, click on the thread of the person with whom you wish to schedule a message. Click the three dots in the top right (in other words, the menu for that specific thread / person) and select “New Schedule Message.” Be sure to updated us here on how things go.

I discovered after speaking with Verizon for an hour that if your new scheduled message it's not showing up it's because in accessibility part of settings you have a setting turned on which stops the new schedule message from showing up in message plus I actually fixed it myself after getting off the phone with Verizon.

Mine is also gone...when I long press the send button, it sends the message immediately. How can we get the scheduling back?

Thank you for sharing those details, Glowmex. When you go to the Message+ app, please tap the three lines in the top left corner and you should have a Scheduled Messages option available. Is this option working?

Message+ long press on SEND invokes scheduling the message for me on my Droid Turbo 2.  Apparently, not gone for everyone.

Long press works on my S7 edge, but honestly hiding features so you have to scour the internet to figure out how to use a feature on an app you have been using for years all over again ... pretty ridiculous.

Of course the next time you turn around they will probably update the app and remove it.

I used to be able to schedule emails as well, but the brain trust long ago removed that feature.

What is this new thing of removing features rather than adding features?

I had this problem too - so frustrating. For me, I had to hit "Activate Account" or something similar to that in the main menu in the app and that fixed it (for some reason). Hope this helps!

This is what worked for me.  (I needed to activate the account though I'd been using it for years)

We know how important it is to for your messages to work like you need them. If you tap the 3 dots in the corner of your message, does it provide you the option to schedule a message for that contact?
