How many text messages can a blackberry bold store? When it runs out of space does it prompt you to delete the messages? Does Verizon delete text messages from the device after a certain time period or message count - or once the message is on the device is it up to the device or user to delete the messages?

Once the device has the message it is up to the user to determine what messages get deleted. I do not know with a BB, but the default setting on an Android is delete messages after 200 are on the device. But those settings are easily changed by the user.
