I would like a record of my texts to be sent to my email, is this possible??
Depends on your phone. If you have an Android, there are apps that will backup your texts and forward them to your e-mail. Text content is not kept by Verizon, only text logs.
Edited to add: You also should be able to forward texts to your e-mail.
