I'm having the same issue but it tells me "I cannot remove VPN companion" my son has a Samsung S6 and he cant connect to his schools or our home WIFI he has issues with the internet being VERRRRRRRRY slow. Need this fixed or I'm cancelling smart family.
FGONZO2002, that is strange that your son isn't able to connect to school or home Wi-Fi networks. I am here to assist. Where exactly are you getting the message you can't remove VPN companion? I want you to reset your network settings. I have included a link on how. Once you have reset your network settings you will be required to reconnect to your Wi-Fi networks.
