To a tablet or computer, yes. A confirmation text with a code would be sent to your phone and the code would need to be entered on the tablet/computer before messages would sync. You can't sync messages with another phone.
To see what devices are synced to your phone, open the Message + app, tap the three bars on the top left of the screen, tap settings, and scroll down to Manage Devices. It will show you what is connected.
