This is no longer in the MS app store or on the Verizon site, that I can find. Where can I get a copy of the install file?
Thanks!

Do you have Windows 10 and did you try to find the app via that link? If you follow that link you posted, the GET IT NOW button leads to the help pages and eventually back to the same page. If you click on the DOWNLOAD THE DESKTOP APP, it takes you to a page with options for Android, iOS, Web Client or macOS but NOTHING for Windows. The desktop app for Windows 10 is NOT accessible via the website or the Windows/MS Store.

Even if you don't use Windows 10, whatever OS you use should show you the lack of Windows 10 desktop app options.

I understand your feelings and not sure about the link, acraftylady2. However, the link provided would be the only way to download the desktop application for Message plus. So since you were asking for where it can be download, please give the link a try. I trust this information is beneficial.

@vzw_customer_support , Your agents are not helping by continually saying we can download the Message+ desktop app for Windows 10 from the website. THERE IS NO OPTION ON THE WEBSITE FOR A SUCCESSFUL DOWNLOAD OF THE WINDOWS 10 DESKTOP APP. Correct me if I'm wrong, but be ready to PROVE it!

Exactly, nothing for Windows 10 that I can find. You would think that since this is the primary Verizon SMS Messaging app they would at least provide an installer for it.

If you've searched this Forum for 'message+ windows 10', you'd find all the discussions regarding issues with the app, specifically syncing messages with integrated devices. So many, in fact, that they pulled it from the website and Windows/MS store. Fortunately, the v1.0.17.0 installer file was able to be saved and be shared. This app does work on Windows 10.

However they sent me a note saying I needed to download the latest version - which I attempted however it requests your phone number and then does not allow you to enter it in any form. What a mess! Supposedly the older version will not work for much longer???

acraftylady2, we want to make sure that you're able to utilize the Message+ application on your Windows 10 computer. The link is confirmed to be working as intended at this time. Which web browser are you trying to use when clicking the link? what exactly happens after clicking the link?

The link does not work. I have tried to access it with google chrome as well as ms edge. Both browsers take you to a link for apple os. There is nowhere to access an install for Windows 10.

The only way to get an install file for Message+ for Windows 10 is to get it from users who have saved it in a Dropbox or such location. Both v1.0.17.0 and v2.0.2.0 are available. There are links to get the files in threads (including this one) discussing this issue. Verizon removed it from the Windows Store long ago now.

Isn't that a link to Google's Play Store and Message+ for a smartphone? This thread is about Windows 10 desktop version of the Message+ app.

Not exactly true. Users trying to install the Win10 M+ v3.0.0 from the Microsoft Store are getting various error messages, including 'out-of-date version on primary device'. Uninstalling/backing off updates of Message+ on the primary device has allowed the successful installation of Win10 M+ after which you can (re)upgrade the mobile app to the current version. There still are issues with the desktop apps' look and operation.

Note10_user, after the Windows update to 10, Message + had syncing issues that were unresolved. This led to the application being pulled from Microsoft on Windows 10. Some have been able to continue use by following these steps:
- Start this process on a system where Verizon Messenger+ is already installed. I have 4 such systems which are networked so this was easy.
- Select the Start button using the left mouse button.
- Scroll down the list of applications until you find the icon for Verizon Messenger+.
- Right click the Verizon Messenger+ icon.
- Select More.
- Select Share from the pop-up menu.
- This will open the Microsoft Store and a window labeled Share will pop-up. Select the escape key to close the Share pop-up.
- The Microsoft Store now displays Verizon Messages with 3 dots (…) in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select the 3 dots (…)
- Select Install on My Devices
- Select the device you want to install Verizon Messenger+ on.
- Go to your device and launch Verizon Messenger+. Your system will now sync with your other Verizon Messenger+ devices.
- Does this help to explain? LorenB_VZW f my response answered your question please click the _Correct Answer_ button under my response. This ensures others can benefit from our conversation. Thanks in advance for your help with this!!

When I get to the option to click on "Install on my devices" it gets stuck, with just a spinning circle forever. Any other options?
