If I get the travel pass, will I get 4G in Shanghai, Nanjing, and Beijing? Also, will I be charged extra for calling or texting Chinese phone numbers? Vice versa, a well. My phone has a dual SIM and is internationa unlocked, so I'm trying to figure out the best option for my situation. My main concern with using a Chinese service provider while there is security.
1991James, I definitely get the importance of having access to service while you are in China. You have come to the right place for help. China is indeed included with TravelPass. I had no problem getting 4G in China during a recent visit. Data and text were pretty smooth. I wasn't always able to make phone calls though. But that wasn't a big deal for me.
