You can do this from your phone if you access the Verizon Mobile App, tap settings, tap devices, tap manage under your phone number, tap the controls tab (you may be asked to verify your Verizon Wireless credentials at this step), tap adjust service blocks, tap the switch button next to Block All Messaging.
