on one of my cell phones i have for my kid i see a txt from a number that only has the last for digits of the number for example 0000006248 and she txt back aswell but i want to know why the number comes out on my bill like this and also anyway i can the the rest of the number?
I know that sites like Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter have numbers that you can text to update your status and such. For example, with Facebook you can send a text to FBOOK and put your status update in the message field and send it off to facebook. If anyone of their friends would post a comment on their status, facebook will send them a text back from that same number telling them what the comment says. I don't know if your kid uses any of these social networking sites, but this is the most probable explanation.
