office 365 users can't send messages to vtext addresses

get this delivery report when trying to send text messages to vtext address from office 365

We certainly want to make sure all your texts go through, soeffinger! Are you able to receive texts? Can you send the texts to the vtext address when using your phone or the Message+ on My Verizon?-Nikki

I have the same problem, when I send to my vtext.com address from Office365, I get this error in the trace log:

Reason: [{LED=450 4.4.317 Cannot connect to remote server [Message=421 vrz-ibgw-5003a.ext.cloudfilter.net cmsmtp 40.107.93.96 server temporarily unavailable AUP#CNCT] [LastAttemptedServerName=vtext.com] [LastAttemptedIP=34.199.121.51:25] [SmtpSecurity=-2;-2] [DM6NAM10FT022.eop-nam10.prod.protection.outlook.com 2023-06-08T22:37. OutboundProxyTargetIP: 34.199.121.51. OutboundProxyTargetHostName: vtext.com

Sometimes the message will deliver (not less than 20 minutes later, usually much longer), but usually it will sit there "Pending" and never go out.  I have tested the vtext.com address from my Comcast email, and the text arrives on my phone in seconds.  I really need to be able to reliably send vtext.com messages though Office365, can you help?

I received your private message but wasn't able to respond for a couple of days.  I guess the link in the message expired.   I tried creating a new private message.....and when I try to send, I'm told I have reached my private message limit even though I haven't sent any.  Please message me again so we can get this worked out.

I am having the same issue. I am still able to send with other carriers. It started out a couple weeks ago where the messages would take up to 24 hours to send. Now it will not send them at all.

We are having the same issue where messages sent to vtext.com or vzwpix.com are randomly being delayed for up to multiple hours.

Apparently, cloudfilter.net, used by Verizon, sporadically has server issues causing these issues.  It may clear up on its own.  Nobody from Verizon has addressed this issue with Cloudfilter that has been identified.

...Just another VZW customer...trying to offer some assistance...
