I pay 4.99 per month for the parental controls for a Motorola Devour. I know how to suspend the service to the phone. I know how to block numbers. What I want to do is suspend the data plan (for when my daughter doesn't pay me for the privilege of having it.
Can I do this?
I think you are out of luck as you cannot suspend the data on a smartphone. You would just have to suspend all service to the line.
I am thinking that changing her settings to C-7 will block enough for it to be considered a punishment. (But wont save me money).
You can go into usage control settings and adjust the data usage allowance to 1gb(1000mb), or less, when she reaches her limit it should cut her phone data usage off until the next billing period.
