My family and I have been long term customers of Verizon for over 10 years. I wanted to look at some different choice of phones like the Nexus 5 and purchase an unlocked phone. Much to my surprise I found out that Verizon does not support Nexus 5 even if I purchase the phone from Google. I am tired of the bloatware the vendors are forcing me to keep on the phone and I would like some moderate amount of control in what gets installed. I am frankly tired of spam and unnecessary apps cluttering my phone which I cannot remove. I wanted to get a phone with the latest Android OS and one I owned. I would be happy to use Verizon's network and pay for it, But it looks like I need to change carriers to someone that allows a choice. I am surprised other carriers have not tried to capitalize on this poor corporate choice of not allowing me to choose what type of phone I use ON THEIR NETWORK.. I finally have waked up, and I will make a choice on MY NEXT NETWORK.
