How are Bookmarks used in the Verizon Community?

I can't seem to find any info on the use of Bookmarks within the Verizon Community support pages? How are they designed to be used? Do they work? Will they ever? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

You can bookmark discussion threads to easily find those same threads at a later date. You can access your bookmarks through your community profile settings. Yes, they work. I have a few threads bookmarked. When I click on a bookmarked link, it takes me to that thread.
