OK, so it's an issue with the integration? Then get the team that maintains the integration to fix it so that e-mail changes on the MyVerizon side are synchronized to the community forum side.
I have the same issue. I just noticed that my email address in the community profile is over 4 years old. I need to update it to the correct email. I hope that no emails were sent to the old one as I have no way of accessing it any longer.

I have been TRYING to get someone to change my email address for the community. The email with MyVerizon is correct. The community address is NO LONGER valid. Seems nobody can do it. So any emails sent to community are getting bounced back.
