Hello,
I noticed this morning that any links I attempt to post in a discussion gets auto-formatted. Instead of posting the raw URL it looks like the Title of the website gets imposed over the top of my link.
Is there any way to disable this auto-formatting feature of the new community? Some times I feel like the raw URL may be more appropriate than to post the Title of the website and look more legitimate to the person I am trying to help.
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
Looks pasting in the HTML editor will preserve the raw link.

Testing.

Yep that is what I have been doing.
Crazy forum still not functional.
test normal copy/paste:

test link editor from toolbar:

Doesn't seem to be auto formatting it now, perhaps it will once I post it?
Whenever I use the link editor it always inserts the link at the very first line of my response. I always have to move the link back down to the area where I originally wanted it. This happens even after moving my cursor to the desired area, clicking to give focus and then launching the link editor.
There is no difference. Both links are cut off however but when I do a copy and paste ( stuck using an iPhone to reply since computers and tablets won't allow replies) they look like this.

This is a copy and paste.
Good Luck
Well it doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
It was for me this morning:
Filing a Complaint - Failure to Honor Promises
Ooooh there it did it again.
testing from link editor:

Link editor seems to hold when I highlight and drag and drop. If I copy/paste the link it will auto format it again. Perhaps it only does this for certain kinds of links? Although I tested my 3gstore link in that same discussion earlier and it auto formatted it.
Suppose I will have to make due with the link editor and carefully moving the link without using copy/paste. Oye.
Yep the forum update just made things so much better!
