VZW reps attempting to help customers by posting suggestions that a customer follow them, and taking questions offline.

Not only does this confuse people coming to find solutions, it adds absolutely no value to the community as a whole. Time and time again, people are not sure what they need to do to hook up with the representative, and that is indicative of a system that is problematic and overly complex.

I'm not sure what the "solution" to the problem really is. If a rep really wants to help someone, it would seem to me another mechanism is possible, like having some keyed invite or link sent to them via email or text message.

I agree as sometimes the answer to one of our questions might answer similar questions of 15 other customers.
