Disney+ Bundle not working

I am trying to login to Disney+ but it's asking me to pay. On my MyVerizon account it says the subscription is active, but when I try to go to Disney, it does not work. This Disney+ bundle is covered by Verizon but when trying to log in to Disney+, it asks me to sign up for the Disney+ bundle. Any advice is appreciated.

I have free Disney + on my Play More plans. I share 5 lines under two households and unfortunately Hulu now wonโ€™t allow all phone lines to access Hulu because we arenโ€™t under the same household. I contacted Verizon, Hulu and Disney and they each say itโ€™s the other companyโ€™s issue without a resolution. Verizon offered free Disney + for all my phone lines and now that doesnโ€™t work. I feel Verizon is obligated to fix this by providing a separate sign in for each phone line as opposed to one shared Hulu sign in that Hulu now doesnโ€™t allow.

Hello Drmagnuscranium, we're sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Unless otherwise permitted by your Service Tier, you may not share your subscription outside your household. โ€œHouseholdโ€ means the collection of devices associated with your primary personal residence that are used by the individuals who reside therein. Additional usage rules may apply for certain Service Tiers.

What is my service tier?  Is this a Hulu or Verizon tier and what are  the available options?  When I signed up for the Play More plan I was told by a Verizon rep I could share the Hulu / Disney plan with all phones on my plan. Nothing was ever mentioned about households until Hulu began a password sharing crackdown. Verizon should provide me with an additional sign in for Hulu as they are the ones not holding their end of the bargain.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us Drmagnuscranium. We would like to learn more about what you are experiencing. Are you sharing that the other users on your account that live at a different location are completely unable to access Hulu? Are they able to access the other fuctions of the Disney Bundler? Were they ever able to access Hulu? Hulu (With Ads) allows for 2 devices to stream at the same time.

Hello Andi,

Yes thatโ€™s exactly what I am saying. I have 5 phone lines shared under two households and two of the lines have the Play More Plan with free Disney, Hulu and ESPN. Everything was fine until Disney/Espn/Hulu started a password crackdown about 3-4 months ago at which time they disallowed two separate households sharing one account sign in. If Verizon supplied me a sign in account for both Play More Plan account members this problem would be solved. I have contacted Disney, Hulu and Verizon and their reps either donโ€™t understand what I am asking or just say it is the other companyโ€™s issue to solve. Very frustrating!!!

Iโ€™m having the same issue today. Iโ€™m going to cancel my subscription and find another subscriber if this doesnโ€™t get resolved soon.

Oh, no! Dealing with Disney+ Bundle issues can be frustrating. Verizon is here to help.

Please elaborate, what exactly is going on with your Disney+ Bundle service?

Hello, Drmagnuscranium. Help is here. Just to confirm, here are the specification on using the bundle. Are you all using the same username and password?

https://www.verizon.com/support/disney-bundle-faqs/

How many family members can stream at a time with the Disney Bundle?

When youโ€™re streaming with:

  • Disney+ Premium (No Ads) - 4 devices can stream at the same time.
  • Hulu (With Ads) - 2 devices can stream at the same time.
  • ESPN+ (With Ads) - 3 devices can stream content at the same time. For Pay Per View (PPV) events, 2 devices can stream at the same time.

Yes, we were using the same user ID and password. Is there a way to have different username and passwords as this would possibly solve the issue. During Huluโ€™s recent password sharing crackdown they no longer allow one account to share access while in different households. This underlies the main issue. I have 5 phone lines shared under two different households.

Thank you for confirming Drmagnuscranium. To confirm, is the only impacting Hulu access? We understand that some Hulu content is now featured through the Disney+ Application, are the other users impacted when using Disney+ or ESPN+ through your bundle or is Hulu the only service that is impacted?

No offense Andi but do you guys ever resolve these issues or just keep asking questions every 3-4 days hoping that we will stop seeking a resolution?  All the questions all of you have asked over the last few weeks are plainly stated in my posts.

Is there a way for each phone line on my account to have a separate sign in to Hulu, Disney, ESPN as this would solve the issue. All the streaming services are cracking down on password sharing and since I have 5 phone lines under two households Hulu , Disney, ESPN consider this a sign of password sharing since we all have to use the same sign in.

Apologies for the frustration, Drmagnumscranium. It was certainly not our intent, and we definitely want to help find a solution. I am facing a similar issue with my family plan as well. The Disney Bundle that is included with Play More is only good for one per account. This means that the login you have is the one that is eligible. You would not be able to have multiple logins, and if additional log ins are required, those would have to be purchased separately through Disney, or by splitting the account up between the two households.

Splitting the account up would change the plan cost based on how many lines are on each account. This would allow your account to have your login, and the new account for the other household to have a login of their own.

I know I am hoping that Disney offers something similar to Netflix where you can add additional households for a reduced cost, but I have not seen anything like that as of yet.

I pay through Verizon but when I go to Disney+ site it tries to make me pay again so right now the Verizon perk does not seem to be working even though it says active and I am paying for it

Hdizzle, we want to make sure that you're able to sign into your Disney+ without having to pay again. Are you able to access Hulu and ESPN? Did you already have an existing Disney+ subscription prior to signing up for the Disney+ perk or getting it on your plan?

There is absolutely no forward progress toward solving this issue. If this is some black hole that you at Verizon can't fix just admit it. I am having the exact same issue as everyone else on this thread and share their frustration--obviously. I have spent over three hours with VZ customer service and get the same questions and not a single helpful comment or answer. I have been elevated to a level 2 tech and they couldn't solve it either. I have had Verizon service for 15 years and this is by far the worst experience I have had with them. Dear Verizon customer support, who is above a level 2 tech? I would like to work with someone who might actually know something that will help fix this. Thank you.
