We had the grandfathered Disney+ (no ads)/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle. We upgraded an old phone with some other plan changes and we lost our ad free Disney+, with the store representative not mentioning anything and us not finding out until we got home - even after repeatedly asking if we were going to be missing anything with the plan changes. Can we upgrade to just get ad free Disney plus again through Verizon? The other discussion I saw on here was not resolved reps only reached out via private message.

Hi justhere25, i am sorry that happend with your services.
To upgrade from the Verizon Disney Bundle with Ads (which includes Disney+ with Ads, Hulu with Ads, and ESPN+) to the no-ads version, you'll need to make changes to your Disney+.Log in to your Disney+ account through the website or app.
-
Go to your "Account" section.
-
Find the "Your Plans & Billing" section.
-
Select "Change" next to your current Disney+ plan.
-
Choose the "No Ads" plan and follow the prompts
You can also send us a Private Note and we can review your account together and look at your options.

Would like support on this. Facing same issue as the above customer. Misleading practices. Going into the Disney app does not let you upgrade to no ads. It sends you back to the Verizon app which then gives you no way to upgrade to no ads. A terrible circular reference for a customer to navigate.

I have the exact same problem. Verizon rep told me in store that nothing would change, only to come home and find out that we now had Disney+ with ads after being forced to upgrade our (already expensive) unlimited plans. I have tried to find a way to pay the difference and at least upgrade the Disney+ to ad free (we’re ok with ads on Hulu and ESPN) but there is apparently no way to do so. False marketing, terrible customer service. Inclined to start looking for another provider that uses the same towers/network for half the price and have plenty left over to pay for full subscriptions on all the streaming services. Not about the money, more about the deception and terrible customer experience. Hope you found a reasonable solution!
