Hi, I read a couple of forums about how to upgrade the Verizon streaming bundle to include Hulu (NO ADS). We first went to our Hulu account and upgraded it to the no-ads version. Then went through our Verizon account and activated the streaming bundle. In theory, Hulu should bill us the full amount of $19.07 and Verizon will credit our account around $12.99 and charge the remaining $7.99 for the no-ads upgrade. Is this correct or did I miss a step? Also, how can I view the credit Verizon applies to my bill? Thanks

I know I dislike having to watch ads with my shows I am already paying for with streaming, jakem1217. It sounds like you did everything correctly, and you can confirm that here under "Can I upgrade my Hulu (with ads) in my Disney Bundle to Hulu (No Ads): https://www.verizon.com/support/disney-bundle-faqs/
According to the FAQ you'll see a credit on your Hulu bill for the Disney Bundle or Hulu Subscription, depending on the service to which you previously subscribed.
I hope this information helps.-Joseph

I think there’s some confusion. Here is a step by step.
1. Cancel your Disney and Hulu subscription current subscription through Verizon perks.
2. go to Hulu and purchase a subscription with no ads and the Disney bundle. It should come out to $19 and some change (I believe, I could be wrong) Make sure (and this is important) you use the same email address you use with your Disney+ and Hulu subscription through your Verizon account.
3. next, go back into Verizon and sign up for the perks for Disney+ and Hulu again using that same email address.
4. you should then receive a credit on your Hulu subscription for $12 (paying the amount of the basic subscription) and you would be charged the remainder for the premium no ads subscription (about $7 I believe).
5. you should have a no ads subscription, be receiving a credit for $12 on your Hulu bill, and be charged $7 for the remainder of the premium no ads subscription. I hope this helps!
also, I wanted to add that the credit is applied to your Hulu bill, not your Verizon bill. So it’s your Hulu bill that will be discounted. That is the one you should keep an eye out for to see the credit.

Ok, so I followed the instructions exactly as described. However, it does NOT show "Verizon Credit (-11.99/mo)" under the Subscription of "Hulu (No Ads)" like in Jay's screenshot. It just shows $17.99/mo.
If I go to "Manage Add-ons" it shows 2 plans - The one I currently have Hulu (No Ads) for $17.99/mo, or Hulu for $0.00/mo. What I had to do was in this section was to change the plan to "Hulu" (the ad version). Save and submit. THEN, go back and change the plan to Hulu (No Ads) and the discount showed at this point. Hope this helps others.

Can you please provide detailed instructions on how to do this? I’m not sure why it’s so incredibly complicated and frustrating.

Unfortunately that does not help. When I sign into Hulu it tells me that all account changes must be made through Verizon.com, but I see no option on the Verizon website to upgrade to ad free on the Hulu/disney bundle.

I had the same question as you RE upgrading to ad free. For what it’s worth, i was told by the live agent that the first step is to cancel the free Disney bundle with Verizon through Verizon. Then sign up for Hulu without ads directly through Hulu. Then resubscribe to the free bundle on Verizon. Then a credit will be applied. I guess I’ll see on my next statement if I actually see a credit.

I appreciate you posting this. I have been stuck with this problem for a while. However, this doesn't seem to be working for me. When I cancel the bundle through Verizon, it remains active for several weeks with no apparent way to disassociate it from my hulu account. Because of that, when I go to hulu, it sees that I have an account and doesn't let me sign up, and it instead goes to the accounts page in which it says the subscription is managed through Verizon and doesn't let me make any changes.

On the Verizon app and website I only see the Hulu (ads), Disney (no ads) and espn. I see the duo on Disney plus but does Verizon not offer the Hulu with no ads bundle anymore?

I see you've shared the same steps from the support page, and included what I believe is the same typo/error from that original page ( https://www.verizon.com/support/disney-bundle-faqs/ )
The heading indicates that is the process to sign up for "Hulu (No Ads)", but then later in the instructions I think it mistakenly says to "Sign up for Hulu (With Ads)" but I think that should say "Sign up for Hulu (No Ads)".
Hope this helps! I don't see anywhere else to provide feedback on that help page content.
I have just followed those steps so will hopefully this part is right "Your Hulu bill will be credited"!
Thanks @Jhouser2516 for the instructions!
