I read an add and it said cable TV is going to be obsolete we are not going to have to pay big cable bills any more TV is going to be watched on computers, cell phones, Ipods, and things like that I don't know what that means for cable companies but for us little people that are paying very big Cable bills every mo. that we can not really afford but it is our only intertainment so we pay it then they change the menu all around so you are so unhappy with it but can't do anything about it I think we will be saving lots of money
The only reason to pay a high cable bill today is to watch your local NBA , NHL, or MLB sports team - its still the only way due to the blackout restrictions currently put in place by their subscription packages - once this policy changes it will be very easy to cut the cable and go with a Netflix or Hulu or Apple TV , Amazon Prime, etc.... which will also eventually raise their prices and we will be back to where we are today with cable ...demand demand demand.....
Not to mention we will be forced to watch even more commercials with no way to fast fwd through them. Hulu Plus is horrible with it already and I'm sure it wouldn't get any better.
Keep dreaming. The big corporations are not about to give up their monopoly regarding content delivery systems.
You're going to pay one way or another to watch your favorite TV shows.
What is a Dinasour? Do you mean dinosuar?
Live sports keep cable very profitable. Mainframe computers have been called dinosaurs for decades, but mainframe computers still make big profits for software and hardware companies. So trhe media calling anything like the dinosaurs is about as meaningful as a boar with teats.
