Verizon Technitian was able to fix the issue, which was one of the cable from the main box outside box was bent. if anyone else having the same problem, please try to run a seperate long cable from the main box outside your house to the FIOS cable box on your tv. if the channel is gettin then the problem is could be a bent or damaged cable. also check w/ neighbours if they have the same issue.

"Currently unavailable" is a signaling issue. Please unscrew the coax cord from the wall to the back of the box. Make sure to take both ends of the cord off. Make sure the tips look good then screw both back on finger tight. If you are still having issues please send me a private message.

The "channel unavailable" message happened frequently a couple of years ago prior to the previous, IMG 1.8, upgrade. It turned out to be a HDMI signal problem, and many people found success by reverting to component plus audio cables. (Components do carry the full 1080i signal). You might try that for a while just as an experiment. If it works, then at least the engineers have a starting point to determine a fix. Good luck.

Multiple channels will be effected by a "currently unavailable" . Any channel that rides that frequency can be effected (up to about 10 channels and they wont be consecutive). Please let me know if reseating the cable does not fix it. If other channels are working fine except these few, its not an HDMI issue. HDMI issues would effect ALL channels and you wouldn't have any communication at all from the box to TV during those episodes.
