For the last two days around 9:45 Pm my new 6416 box will stop displaying the picture. You can change the channel and see what channel you are on by the display on the TV but no picture. The channel guide worked, settings worked but still no picture. The first time this occurred we were watching a DVR show when it started. I removed the power cord to reboot the box and after 2-3 times it cleared up. Last night we hit the channel guide button when it started. We waited to get a hold of support but after 20 minutes of waiting on hold decided to call a number on the display and enter a code of 8801. The automatic system reset the box and the problem went away but its very annoying this problem even exists. Anyone ever see this or know a fix?
Obviously it has been seen, which is why there is a specific code and nunber for it.... Just like a PC can freeze or act funky and needs to be rebooted.... same kind of concept, here.... sometimes things need to be reset.... if the issue persits there may be some sort of underlying issue with your box, and if that is the case, contact tech support at 1 888 553 1555 or via live chat, and they can help you out.
