Try the "Fix FIOS TV issues". It's found under Menu > Customer Support. This will do more than simply cycling power.

Have had no issues with any of my boxes changing over to DST.
Try rebooting the box - that should force a network update and should guve you the correct time.

I have 2 DVR, 1 set top box.... none went to DST...
I completely powered down 1 dvr (waited the 30 secs) and power it back up, this DID NOT resolve the issue...
So anyone have an Idea when Vzn is going to get it fixed....
Somebody missed loading the DST patch into the computers!!!

we have DVR & 3 set tops boxes that did not reset either. tried turning off/on - no change. the online help says it is suppose to change automatically. never had a problem with it before. maybe they are behind with the patch because it came earlier this year.

Your suggestion fixed the problem. Disappointed that Verizon could not communicate the fix to its subscribers.
Thank you

Thanks, this did fix the clock. However, it was a bit shocking once the reset began. The TV popped and snapped, and the DVR acted weird for about 5 minutes. I hope Verizon would develop a more seamless/quiet fix for the clock.

Well I'm glad I tried this forum. Leave it to the customers to help solve such a simple problem. Of course I suffered through the telephone "help" agent and then sat on hold for 30 minutes while I searched for the answer online. If Verizon knew they had this problem out there why didn't they just force the reset themselves? or better yet fix the problem on their end. Alas, at least we don't have comcast.
BTW, after no one picked up after being on hold for over 30 minutes I hung up. What a waste.

IF your dvr was fully communicating with the FIOS site, there was no fix neeeded. For most people the time changed with no intervention.
But if some of the communication was down running the Fix DVR/STB option should reestablish the necessary communication and cause the clock to correct.
