Well, then, if VZ is not getting rid of it, can someone from Verizon ANSWER THE ORIGINAL QUESTION?
Why are the contents not updated, like on Comcast?

Verizon already responded to this question in this duplicate thread.
To recap, Fear.net updates their VOD titles at the start of every month. Comcast may be a few days (or a week) faster in making those titles available.
