It appears that yesterday or over the weekend that the Guide no longer shows the actors in the main browsing screen. In order to see who is in the show, you have to click TWICE on the INFO button.
This was a REALLY bad idea. When using the guide, no one can remember the show from the new, shortened descriptions. Many times our decision to watch a show, especially a movie, is determined by the people who are in it.
This may have been a technical decision to reduce the description and therefore the amount of data that has to load, but it really makes the Guide screen much more difficult to use. If you changed companies who provide the content, please go back to the other one, even if it costs you more!
And please, don't tell me how I can search for a show or actor. Sometimes we don't know what we are going to watch or would change our decision when we see an actor's name.
