Well, so far, I am not having any luck at all with this new guide. Ever since it was rolled out, my picture flashes very quickly and then the box will reset itself. After it resets itself, the picture appears on screen with the same quick flashing and then the box resets itself again. This is all my TV has been doing for the last 4 hours.
I tried the in home agent and it doesn't appear to be doing anything at all.
have you tried unplugging it for 2-5 minutes and then plugging it back in?
Also try the quick fixes for set top boxes found online and through this website. If no difference, then call Verizon or Open a Live Chat
This happens to me pretty reliabally every time I don't turn the TV on for a few days. I turn it on and it has the fios screensaver. I click menu and the tv comes on but flashes off every 5 seconds or so.
Unplugging the box fixes it but it's super annoying to have to do this every few weeks and the DVR often doesn't work for 10-15 minutes after reboot. Verizon, please fix this problem.
