Getting intermittent blackouts

Just bought and LG TV and connected it to new Verizon DVR box. Keep getting blackouts that last several seconds while watching in both live and recorded formats. Have tried reconnecting HDMI cable but still getting blackouts. Any suggestions?

Reboot the DVR and TV by unplugging their power cords for 1 min. Another thing you can try is a different HDMI port in the TV. Did this happen with your previous HD TV?
