Hallmark Movie Channel Removed From Extreme HD (2009)

I am one of your valued Verizon FiOS customers who feels manipulated by Verizon's decision to remove a specific channel offering from my 2009 Extreme HD plan.

While I understand that channel offerings may change at any time at the discretion of Verizon, I'm scratching my head over the decision to offer the Hallmark Movie Channel in the Prime plan, remove the HMC in Extreme HD, then re-offer the HMC in the Ultimate plan.  Plan offerings should be additive and consistent; this approach is clearly not.  Marketing decisions like this one only serve to alienate your valued customers.

Verizon, please understand that one of your valued customers has lost his trust in your company.

Sincerely,

I discussed my concerns with a polite Verizon CSR named "Brian" yesterday.  I was informed that because of customer complaints,  Verizon was offering to return the lost channels if I committed to a 2-year Extreme HD (2010) plan.  I agreed to the plan, but the CSR was unable to complete the transaction because the system was telling him that I did not have television service.  Brian informed me that he would call me back today after 3 pm to process my request.  We shall see.
