How to get new Black DVR

I've recently had Fios installed and love it ! It's way better then TWC.

However, after my installation the engineer informed me that the Silver box he's installed only has 25 hours recording time.  This is no where near enough for my families use.

With a wife and two kids this space is going to be used up very quickly.

When I expressed my concerns with the engineer he suggested coming to this site to request the new Black models which have much more storage.

However after speaking online with a sales advisor she suggested I fill out the return equipment form, which was a waste of time as she couldn't promise I'd get a black version.  I would most more than likely end up with another silver version.

So does anyone know how to proceed from here ?

If you have a Verizon store locally you can stop in and see if they will do the swap for you. Its not guaranteed that they will have the 7232 DVR (Black one).
