Is the new Motorola 7100 HD Set Top Box compatible with Home Media DVR?

I currently have a Home Media DVR setup with the Motorola 6416 HD DVR connected to 2 Motorola 2500 SD Set Top Boxes.  One of the 2500s is connected to a HD TV, so I'm not able to view live TV in HD ( I'm not looking to view recorded programs in HD) because of this limitation where older HD Set Top Boxes don't work with the Home Media setup.

I was wondering if the new Motorola 7100 HD Set Top Box is compatible with the Home Media Setup, so I can overcome this limitation?

Work for streaming dvr video, or from the PC like music and images?

If you mean from the DVR, I believe with the 1.6 image the MR-DVR will stream HD and SD content to any box 7xxx or 6xxx. SD box will not get the HD stuff. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

But the images and music from PC will only go to the MR-DVR

Thanks for the quick reply Tim.  I've since replaced one of my Standard Definition Motorola 2500 boxes with the Motorola 6200 HD box.  I can confirm that with the 1.6 software I can now see content on my Home Media DVR setup from a HD box.

Just to be clear, are you saying you can see images and music from the HomeMedia DVR or just recorded show?  I am hoping this is case but I am pretty sure this is not possible.

The 7100, just like the 6200, can access recorded SD and HD shows from the MRDVR STB. You cannot access your PC's pictures and videos from the 7100.

Sorry for the confusion.  I'm attesting to the fact I can now see Recorded Shows with the HD box connected to my Multi Room (Home Media) DVR setup.  I don't use the Media Manager software for sharing Music/Pictures.
