New Menu size 16:9 vs 4:3

The new menu system show up like 4:3 on my tv that has 16:9. The programming shows in 16:9 with no problem, but the menu screen is only as wide as the 4:3. There are those black bars on each side. I tried all options, how can I fix this? thanks

Is your box you're having issues with connected with HDMI or RGB?

On my RGB setup i can only get 4:3 menu.

On my HDMI setup I get 16:9 menu.

My HDMI cables won't function properly w/ my TV for some reason but I'll try again now.

16:9 menu is a QIP HD 7100 1 box.

4:3 menu is a QIP 6416-2 box.

I tested QIP 6416-2 with an HDMI and no 16:9 menu.

Upgrade your boxes to 7xxx series.  Probably can get them to do it for free.
