For at least a month now, most days I get a pixelated picture on the HD Comcast Sportsnet and CSN+ channel. I'm in Richmond, VA. I've noticed this since the start of the NBA season back at the end of December and it only occurs on these two channels. Some days, like today, its unwatchable. Others, it ok and there are only intermittent hiccups. For all other channels, the picture quality is fine.
I've twice (today and two weeks ago) checked cables, splitter, connection at the ONT, and called and had the boxes reset through the automated service, still the same.
Just called and talked to a live agent and he told me that the channels were having an outage and it might be a few days or a week before they'd be fixed. That simply sounded like a load of garbage.
Any ideas?
What setting is your box on? 1080i? Try setting it to naive or even 720 to see if that helps
Box is set at 720p. I've tried 1080i, same result.
also try setting your tv to just scan (if you have that).
