Programming change - not informed! - Not happy!

Been a customer for over 4 years - same plan. It included 591 - outdoor HD, and now it's gone. This happened before with Hallmark channel. I called yesterday to customer service and was told for $19.95 more per month, I could have what I used to receive - ARE YOU KIDDING?!! Asked for someone to talk with and was told a "supervisor" would call me today - yeah right, still waiting...

Verizon FiOS in no longer a good deal for me and customer service much worse than a couple years ago. Unfortunately I have no choice but to look for alternatives.

Bye bye.

Verizon has publicly stated they are removing low rated TV channels to minimize price increases and this would include moving channel to more expensive tiers.  I'm sure they will many leaving verizon when the take off the wrong low rated channel.

Not happy here too!

I have TV Extreme HD with 338 channels.  We watch maybe 25 of these.  The rest is &%$#@.

Then they (Verizon) have the nerve to take away 2 of the ones we do watch, Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel, and they want to charge me $9.99 a month to get another package just to get these and 9 other channels I don't want.

Time to petition the yahoos in congress to resurrect the cafeteria legislation to allow us to pick and choose what we want to pay for.

Or, maybe, it might be time to switch to someone who will listen.

By the way, what about adding "The Blaze" to the programming?

Keep us posted on how this works out.  In fact, call collect.

FIOS is starting to remind me of cable vision...this is why I switched and now I am wondering if I made a mistake.

"By the way, what about adding "The Blaze" to the programming?"

As Verizon FiOS customers we have access to Al Jazeera America and Playboy TV but not The Blaze.

This is just so wrong in so many ways no wonder America is going down the tubes.

You can get those channels by upgrading to ultimate HD,plus you'll also get showtime, cinemax, epix and the movie channel included.I mention that in case your paying extra for any premiumn channels ,which are included in the higher tier. Verizon is not the only one to do this sometimes the other cable and satellite providers move channels to upper tiers when the channels charge them more money to carry them.
