Received my new DVR - requires a 'double click' of OK on the remote?!?!

For some reason I could not click "OK" and have it do anything. Eventually I figured out that quick tapping it twice makes it work. Like double clicking OK. Every other button on the remote works as normal, just like my old VZ DVR. But for some reason, on this new one, and yet not on the media extender, I am forced to double click OK in order for the DVR to register that I clicked OK. Note that this problem is for the DVR, not the TV which works fine.

Is this a new setting? Is there any way to change it? Is it something wrong with the box/media server?

Please help!

That is not normal behavior. Either the remote or the box is bad.

It's not the remote because I tried the old remote (which was the exact same model/remote as the new one they sent) and had the same problem.
