Remote code Atai TV

I received a Akai LCD tv that was already on the VZW fios network and remote was programmed to DVR but I'm unable to program my remote to TV. Tried all codes on line, did the 9-2-2 search method and VZW support with no success. I also reset set top box with no luck. Any suggestions

Well these are the codes that I show:  0057, 0087, 0699, 0729, 0839, 3002, 3182, 3219, 3247, 3248

Something else you might want to try, though I'm not sure if it will work, I think Akai has some relation to Samsung -- you might want to give their codes a shot as well: 0057, 0087, 0205, 0729, 0793, 0839, 0841, 1087, 3004, 3005, 3008, 3022, 3025, 3026, 3058, 3094, 3127, 3128, 3136, 3137, 3148, 3156, 3172, 3205

Some of the Akai's even match the Samsungs.  Worth a shot.  Else you might have to juggle 2 remotes or get a real univsersal remote like a Harmony.

The 3000 series codes were invalid according to remote. I will try the samsung codes and let you know thanks.

if you tried the scan mode with the 9-2-2 and nothing came up. contact verizon as there is a verision 2 of the remote (hense the 3*** codes listed). If you get a cooperative agent they will probably just send you a new remote to see if the new version will work with your tv.

If that doenst work. Universal is your next option
