Please add Fox Soccer Channel in HD.

If it remains available on Comcast and FIOS does not add iut soon, then I'm switching.

  I just realized that 95% of those asking for FSC have never posted anywhere here before.  Almost as if sent here just for this reason. Hmmm.   As for those who threaten to switch to Comcast , well that is your perogative.  But I doubt that will happen. Why would anyone revert to the lesser quality (and  fewer HD channels) of Comcast just on the basis of one part-time channel that is not yet up

I know there are are a lot of soccer fans out there, but if one were to go by this board, then the sport would be more popular in the US than football is.  Kinda suspect, if you ask me.

At any rate, I've heard that FSC will indeed be coming soon...just don't know exactly when. Depends on Fox (and we know how that goes.)

I'm not sure why that is suspect.  Of course people who want soccer in HD are posting more than football fans, there are new channels that have become, or are about to become, available.  Verizon already carries all the currently available football channels in HD.  The only thing that they can't carry is Sunday Ticket because DirecTV has that locked in by contract.  When that contract comes up for renewal i would expect forums like this to be flooded with postings about how people want VZ to carry those channels too.

Ok, it's not FSC,  but ION-HD should be added on Feb 23 or 24.   Channel 531  (Already added in some markets, this applies to the NY/NJ area)

Other than FSC HD, I would like to see Univision HD added for us Spanish speaking customers. Univision launched their HD service back on January 1st and VZ still doesn't have it? What's up with that?

Besides, Univision will be carrying the World Cup this summer. It's more than likely that those games will be shot in HD so I would like to be able to see then in HD.

Here are my suggestions for channels I would like to see add to FiOS:

Fox Soccer Plus HD (when available in March)

Fox Soccer Channel HD

BBC America HD

NASA TV (preferably HD)

I really don't understand why NASA TV (a free feed available from NASA) can't fit somewhere in the FiOS lineup. My local cable provider has NASA TV a part of the government programming in their basic package. I can understand not spending money to add other channels, but NASA TV is free. This is long overdue.

Thanks for the forum to voice my suggestions.

In response to Film11, I am one of the people that made my first post on this board asking for FSC HD and FSC +.  I don't post on tihs site, because before now I've had nothing to write about.  Fios is great - I am very happy with the product.  But I am one of many, many Americans that loves soccer.  Watching SD soccer on FSC is not a great experience.  Please Verizon, add FSC HD.  Soccer was meant to be broadcast in HD.
