Hi, I just recently added a new dvr set box to one of our extra rooms. We ordered a movie tonight from Video on Demand but for some reason when we play it, it's very pixelated and there is no sound. Please advise how to fix this issue.

Contact Verizon, particularly if this was peer to peer.
Note if you are using a slower speed FIOS or have lots of intenet activity at the same time, this can be the problem. Bad wiring, flakey router can also be problems.Some VOD is also of lower quality than others. I used to have problems with STARZ HD but Starz fixed that.

This happened to me with my new DVR for the first movie.
I went to the STB MENU > CUSTOMER SUPPORT > In-Home AGent> Set-Top Box Auto Correction.
Then I retried and the VOD movie worked perfectly. Only had to do it the one time.
