What happened to On Demand "FAST FORWARD" function?

I noticed since the "On Demand" upgrade, I can no longer FAST FORWARD on any of the tv shows (free).  There use to be a message on certain TV stations and/or shows letting you know if the FF functions are disabled or not.  Message no longer appears.

Now I am unable to FF on any TV shows (free)😞

I can still "rewind" and "pause."

I checked the "Messages" menu to see if this was an issue or FF was disabled w/the upgrade but found none.  The On Demand upgrade appears to be done in my area - South Jersey.

The stations/shows I can no longer FF are:

Lifetime

BBC

AMC

SyFy

TNT

ABC

CBS

NBC

USA

Can a forum moderator/host/hostess look into this please?

Most network (nbc, abc, cbs, etc.) VOD do not allow you to FF. It is due to the networks restrictions, especially of the VOD content that contains commericials in it.. They (i.e. the netowrks NOT Verizon) want you to watch the commercials.

@ ornahp

Thank you for your response.

I just wanted to make sure if this was a known issue w/the upgrade or not.  Will check out the live chat & the link you provided.

Those were the channels that had the message letting you know that FF was disabled.  I sort of figured it was the networks who were doing that rather than Verizon.
Thanks for the heads up and responding.
