new gigabit service-now problem with cable reception on additonal TV's

I recently upgraded to Gigabit service and received a new quantum router.

I have 3 set top cable boxes in the house. A primary one (with DVR built in) and 2 additional ones.

Previous wiring was all coax. For this new router wiring to router was upgraded to cat5e (from ONT to Router)

Now, I have cat5e running from ONT to router, and a separate Coax cable (not connected to the router) running from splitter off of ONT connected to primary set top box.

There is no Coax connected to Quantum router coax connection.

Internet works fine and I do have cable reception at primary set top box, but I have two additonal TVs in other parts of the house that are not getting cable reception. Trouble shooting those 2 secondary boxes indicate they are not getting a signal from the connected coax cables connected to those boxes. However, those coax cables are connected (upstream) to the same coax splitter that the primary cable box is connected to.

Any idea what the problem is?

Quantum router is needed to support VMS and ipcs.

stbs need internet access for guide and vod.

ipcs also need it to communicate with VMS.
