I have tried to remove it before but it keeps coming back! Any suggestions or is this even possible?

As far as I know, Hulu is not an app which you cannot delete.
Keep in mind removing the app from your home screen does not un-install it. It will still be in your app-drawer. You have to un-install it to remove it from your device.
