I've run Verizon and Ookla WiFi speed tests to compare my Ellipsis tablet with my other devices. My Ellipsis is very slow, even with all possible memory freed. It would likely help if Verizon made the Marshmellow update installable. Marshmallow would also enable installation of some apps I need.
With the device being almost three years old, I doubt it will receive further updates.
